wow what abit of humour. Thought from our quick run at wanganui the week before that we had our carburetor issue’s sorted but not to be.
We were getting to about mid corner and the rev’s would die down on us, had thought’s it may be a gearing problem so dropped ‘4′ teeth on the back for the second heat.
A fraction better but still no good get mid corner and have trouble’s and 97b not far in front now, rang our mechanic in Hawkes Bay for advice after the second heat about the carb’s did what champ said, revving alot better but the combination of another poor start and by now pushing mid corner’s put pay to giving 97b the battle myself and Sally are looking forward to.
I’ve never felt so good on the bike, Sally well he’ll swing on anything! Sorry 2nz about the first heat had to be close on the cut back to have a clear gap at the end of the straight , this the carb thing you know, the cut back to close opp’s, at least you finished hee hee. So enough of this people will start saying we’re making excuse’s, all washed up, had our day, are has been’s and all that, some already are.
I’ll let you know a little secret we are buzzing as a team, every race is an improvement on the previous one, race result’s aren’t our major worry , track time will fix our issue’s, and for our supporter’s cheer’s for your encouragement. Don’t tell the opposition our good motor hopefully goes in this week, another run on palmy before the New Zealand’s would of been good but never mind. Don’t hesitate to come over for a chat in the pit’s when your passing, may slip out a few humourous stories of our 12 year’s racing together, there has been some good one’s.
Cheers Handbag
